Junior League Kickoff

Junior League activities and events have started back up! For those that don't know, the Junior League is a women-only non-profit group committed to making a difference in the community, primarily affecting women and children. This is my 4th year in the league but my first as the official photographer! Okay, so really its the first year for any photographer and I was the only one who tried out for it, but still....

Last week we welcomed 140 new girls into the league and kicked it off with a welcome reception. I was there to catch a few shots in the super dark (bad lighting) Omni Parker Hotel.

On a beautiful summer day Kate and I headed to Wellesley College for a wedding of a former grad. The pre-photos, first look and ceremony were all held outside.

I loved the different colored bridesmaid's dresses and the clasps were a gift from the bride.

Mike and Karen

Mike and Karen's wedding was held at the lovely Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. I loved their seating tags and awesome flowers! I was a guest at the wedding so I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked.

Wedding

Here are a few shots from the first wedding with my fabulous mentor Kate McElwee. I've had a blast working with her and learning as I go! This wedding was held at the Museum of Science right on the Charles River. It was a gorgeous day outside.

Engagement

I had the privilege of shooting a friend's engagement photos. I work with Rachel and she and Nick were fun to work with. Here are a few of their shots from Charlestown (through the haze and rain).
